Rediscovering The Local Scene

24th SEPT 2026,, 2340~



These past two months were my semester break. I had nothing much going on, so I spent most of it watching countless movies and a few new series. The most fun part about this semester break for me was that my interest in the local scenery was revived from the grave, lmao. I barely engaged with the local industries for so long, although I'm ashamed to admit it. But I wasn't sure what drove me to start, and by the time I realised it, I'd been watching local movies and series day in and day out.



Not just the cinema scene, but also the music scene. I've heard lots of songs from the old artists that I used to listen to and discovered multiple creative indie bands. There was this one particular band whose music I started to love so much that I listened to them constantly until they became my top artist for these two months!



This whole experience made me feel like I were back into being a teenager self. Discovering a new world, learning new things and the names of people, getting back into the old things, I was drowning in this nostalgic feeling of being the youth, the one who I used to be and wished to continue to be.



Unfortunately, life happened,

but

Fortunately, I'm still a human who is allowed to learn, and feel, and talk, and do things I wish to do.



There is always this part in your brain that will itch with the wonder of things in life, and when you start to scratch it in the right way, you'll be more satisfied than anything. シ
